Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has signed an MoU with NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) today towards strengthening collaboration in the 1080 MW thermal captive power project and renewable energy development.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical), NALCO and Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL, and the Directors of NLCIL at Mahabalipuram (Tamil Nadu).

The MoU aims to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions. It provides a structured framework to explore long-term power tie-ups and coal supply arrangements.

The partnership will envisage joint project development in the future to come.
