The temple gates were opened at 2:00 am, and the day began with a sacred bath of the deity using 108 pots of fragrant water, followed by the traditional Mangala Aarti and the completion of all morning rituals. In view of the heavy footfall, the district administration has made elaborate security arrangements. A large police force has been deployed at the shrine, and barricades have been set up to ensure orderly and peaceful darshan for all devotees.

Kawadias are seen walking barefoot across the concrete bridge leading to the shrine, carrying pots of water on their shoulders to perform Jalabhishek on the Shravan Lingam of Baba Dhabaleswar. Authorities have urged devotees to cooperate and maintain discipline during the holy observance.
