Columnist & The Suryaprabha Editor Rabi Kanungo passes away

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: Ace Journalist, columnist and Editor of The Suryaprabha Daily Rabi Kanungo is no more.

The literary figure breathed his last late night on Wednesday at 83.

Kanungo died during his treatment for geriatric related ailments ,at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Kanungo leaves behind an enduring legacy in Odia language, literature, and journalism.

As the editor of Odia daily Suryaprabha, Kanungo earned a good reputation and respectable place among the Odisha journalists for his fearless approach and bold write-ups and editorials.

Apart from journalism, Kanungo was also regarded as a pioneer in promoting and preserving the Odia language through his literary works.
