Bhubaneswar, Nov 4: In a special initiative, students across the state will come together to sing the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ on November 7, marking its 150th anniversary.

The Department of Odia Language and Literature has issued instructions to the Department of School and Mass Education and the Higher Education Department to ensure participation from all schools and colleges. According to the guidelines, students will gather in morning assemblies to perform the song as part of the celebrations.

The move aims to foster a sense of patriotism and cultural awareness among students, commemorating one of India’s most cherished national songs.
