Puri, Feb 26: The sacred festival of Gobinda Dwadashi will be observed on Saturday with religious fervour. Marking the occasion, renowned sand artist Manas Sahoo created a detailed sand animation highlighting the significance of the holy dip.

In a two-hour-long artistic presentation, Sahoo illustrated the spiritual importance of taking the sacred bath at Narayan Ghat. The expansive beach canvas featured intricately crafted visuals of a grand procession of saints and seers, depicted with remarkable precision through sand animation.

The artist said the initiative aims to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the nation and Shreekhetra (Puri). He noted that due to lack of adequate publicity, many people remain unaware of the religious importance of Gobinda Dwadashi and its immense spiritual merit.

Sahoo added that the artwork was designed to spread awareness about the timeless traditions of Mahaprabhu and to educate the public about the festival’s religious significance.
