Keonjhar, Nov 3: Tata Steel has announced the second edition of Joda Run-a-thon.  The theme for this year is – “Every stride for a greener tomorrow”.

Organised by Tata Steel’s Ore Mines & Quarries (OMQ) division, the 2025 edition of Joda Run-a-thon will be held on November 23, in valley town Joda, in the Keonjhar district.

The event will kick off from Central Playground of Joda at 6:00 am. It consists of 3 competitive race categories: 10 K and 7 K (Men & Women), 5 K (Boys and Girls) and one non-competitive 2 K (PwDs). With a total prize pool of ₹5.67 lakh and one sapling to be planted for each runner, the Run-a-thon celebrates the spirit of competition and promotes sustainability.

Atul Kumar Bhatnagar, General Manager, OMQ, said, "The Joda Run-a-thon 2025 aims to bring the community together, promoting both fitness and environmental consciousness. I urge all running enthusiasts to participate and make every step count toward a sustainable tomorrow."
