Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: At least 20 passengers sustained injuries after an Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) bus overturned in Kantamal area of Boudh district this morning.
As per reports, the bus with around 50 passengers on-board was en-route to Phulbani from Angul when the driver lost control of the wheels and hit a road divider. Thereafter, the ill-fated vehicle overturned and fell into the Ranipathar Ghat.
Some locals jumped to their rescue and rushed the injured passengers to the nearby Community Health Centre (CHC) at Purunakatak.
On getting the information, police arrived at the spot and took stock of the situation.
Further investigation into the matter was underway and more details in this regard are awaited.
