2 labourers killed as rice-laden truck overturns in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, Feb 21: Two labourers died as a rice-laden truck they were travelling in overturned near Dangapankha area in Nabarangpur district today. The deceased has been identified as Naba Harijan and Saradu Sahu, both residents of Tirliambaguda village. According to the locals, the truck was going from Nabarangpur to Kosagumuda block for delivering 180 sacks of rice when the driver of the truck lost his control over the wheels and the vehicle overturned on Kodinga-Duranga road. The labourers died on the spot following the accident. On being informed, the Kodinga police reached the spot and launched a probe into the matter sending the bodies for the post-mortem.
