Cuttack, Feb 6: The Cuttack District Judge Court in Cuttack was hit by a bomb threat sparking panic and a security scare. An email warning of a possible bomb was received, prompting the immediate evacuation of all court employees, lawyers, and officials. The police, along with the anti-bomb squad, rushed to the scene, and a thorough search is underway using metal detectors and sniffer dogs. Authorities have not yet identified the sender of the threatening email, and lawyers have raised concerns over the adequacy of court security.

This is a repeat of similar incidents earlier this year. On January 8, bomb threat emails were sent to courts across Odisha, including Cuttack, Sambalpur, and Debagarh, creating widespread panic. Court proceedings were suspended, and all personnel were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
