Bhubaneswar, Feb 10: Bhubaneswar police have released new CCTV footage related to the shocking murder of taxi driver Satyabrata Pradhan, allegedly linked to a love triangle. Two videos have gone viral on social media—one shows Satyabrata running for his life during the attack, while the other features a young man and woman, believed to be Dinesh and Liza, walking together. Authorities have yet to confirm their identities officially.

Liza, Satyabrata’s alleged girlfriend, has been taken into custody and is being questioned in connection with the case. The police have also summoned her landlord and tenant for interrogation. Neighbors have appeared at Chandrasekharpur police station, and their statements are being recorded.

The investigation revealed that Satyabrata was brutally murdered on the night of the 8th, with his body later disposed of in the Chandrasekharpur area. Police are questioning Liza and her former boyfriend Dinesh, noting that Liza has reportedly changed her statements multiple times. Authorities are recording her statement under Section 180 BNSS and are also checking Call Detail Records (CDR) to verify communications related to the crime.

Liza’s residence has been sealed, and her beauty parlor has been searched for additional evidence. A senior lady inspector is overseeing the statement recordings to ensure proper documentation of the ongoing investigation.
