Binika, Oct 10: Vehicular movement on NH-26 at Dunguripali in Sonepur district was affected as locals blocked road demanding repair of the road.
The Dunguripali Sachetan Nagarik Committee had called for the 12-hour road blockade to press the demand.
Due to the dawn-to-dusk bandh, schools and colleges, shops, and other business establishments have remained closed.
Besides, vehicular movements in the locality have come to a grinding halt as the activists staged a road blockade on NH.
The bandh supporters were seen staging picketing at various places.
