New Delhi, Nov 26: India will observe Constitution Day 2025 with a national function that to be held at the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan at 11:00 am today. This occasion reaffirms India's commitment to the core values of its Constitution and democratic traditions.

The President of India will preside over the ceremony, with dignitaries including the Vice-President, Prime Minister, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Union Ministers, and Members of Parliament from both Houses in attendance.

During the event, the Speaker and Vice-President will address the gathering, followed by the President's address.

As part of the Constitution Day observance, several digital releases are planned during the Central Hall function:

The launch of the Constitution of India in nine languages-Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia, and Assamese-prepared by the Legislative Department.

The release of a commemorative booklet titled “भारत की संविधान से कला और कैलीग्राफी” (Hindi version), curated by the Ministry of Culture.

The event will also include the reading of the Preamble, led by the President of India.

Across the country, Union Ministries, State/UT Governments, local bodies, and other institutions are organizing a wide range of activities to observe the day. Citizens will participate through:

Online reading of the Preamble on platforms such as MyGov.in and Constitution75.com.

Participation certificates and social media sharing.

National online quiz, blog, and essay competitions on the theme “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman”.

A series of conferences, seminars, debates, short films, exhibitions, cultural programs, and other Constitution-themed activities at all levels-from Panchayat to Parliament.

Constitution Day 2025 is set to be a nationwide celebration of India’s constitutional values, engaging citizens from every corner of the country and abroad.
