Bhubaneswar, January 22: The Odisha Government has unveiled the list of distinguished police officers to be honored with the esteemed Governor’s Medal for the year 2025.
The awards will be presented on Republic Day 2026 to those recognized for their exceptional service and unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order in the state.
Among the distinguished recipients are Dr. Satyajit Naik, Inspector General (IG) of Police for the Central Range in Cuttack, and Niti Shekhar, IG of Police for the Southern Range in Berhampur. Both officers will be honored inCategory-I(Additional D.G.P./I.G.P./D.I.G.P.).
