Beguniapada, Oct 28: One person was killed while two others were seriously injured in fire cracker explosion at Jagat Sahi under Beguniapada police station limits in Ganjam district.
The deceased has been identified as Jitu Pradhan, son of Raju Pradhan of Jagatisahi under Beguniapada police limits.
The explosion took place on the second floor of Raju Pradhan’s house.
Sources said, the incident occurred while these men were making crackers for Diwali.
The injured were immediately rushed to Kodala community health centre where Jitu was pronounced dead on arrival. The two others are yet to be identified.
Being informed, a team of police officials from Benguniapada Police Station visited the site and started an investigation.
