​​​​​​​Kishore Nagar (Angul), Dec 25: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old child died at Kishore Nagar in Angul onn Thursday as a tractors ran over him along with his mother.

The tragic incident took place at Karmakata village under Kishorenagar Police limits in Angul.

The deceased boy was identified as Sriram Dehury.

According report, the woman and her son was enjoying sunlight sitting on the roadside. Meanwhile, a speeding tractor crushed them over as the driver lost his control over the wheels.

Locals rushed the duo to the CHH Kishore Nagar for resuscitation where the lad was declared dead. The mother, who was critical, was referred to the DHH Angul for higher-end care.

On being informed the police seized the body and, the tractor from the scene.

An UD case has been initiated in this connection and the reckless driver will be nabbed soon, said the police.
