Puri, Oct 13: During his visit to Puri, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi turned an ordinary roadside moment into a heartwarming encounter. As his convoy slowed near Kaduathar, a humble tender coconut stall caught his attention. In a spontaneous gesture that surprised onlookers, the Chief Minister stepped out, traded the bustle of politics for a sip of nature’s refreshment, and shared a candid chat with the local vendor behind the counter.

Majhi purchased a tender coconut from vendor Sridhar Mohapatra and struck up a friendly conversation with him. He asked Sridhar about his business — how long he had been selling coconuts, how his income was, and whether he was receiving any government support.

Impressed by the taste, Majhi complimented the quality of the coconut and praised Sridhar for his hard work and modest service.

The surprise visit left the vendor overjoyed, as he expressed his delight at having the opportunity to serve the Chief Minister.
