Puri, Mar 8: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a magnificent sand sculpture of Lord Shiva with 500 small shivlings around the statue on Puri beach on the eve of Mahashivratri.
The sculpture, adorned with the message "Praying for Peace, Om Namah Shivaya," captivated the attention of a large crowd gathered on the beach.
Sudarsan, along with students from his sand art institute, meticulously crafted the artwork.
Recognised for his talent, Sudarsan Pattnaik, a recipient of the Padmashree award, has showcased his artistry in over 65 international sand art championships and festivals worldwide. His remarkable achievements have earned accolades for the nation.
