Bhadrak, Jan 16: Just a day after an infant girl was rescued from a private bus in Keonjhar, Odisha, another abandoned newborn baby girl was discovered near a petrol pump in Bhadrak on Monday night. Local residents heard the baby's cries and promptly rescued her, rushing her to Dhamara Medical for initial treatment. Subsequently, she was transferred to Bhadrak Medical for further care.
Being informed, Dhamara police reached the spot and have initiated an investigation to locate the mother of the abandoned baby girl. Notably, the previous incident involved the rescue of a baby girl near the wheels of a private bus at the Champua bus stand in Keonjhar on Sunday night. The vigilant bus driver noticed the abandoned infant and took immediate action to rescue her.
