Prime Minister Modi applauds Swati Mishra's soul-stirring devotional anthem 'Ram Aayenge'

New Delhi, Jan 6: Ahead of the highly anticipated consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya's Ram Janmbhoomi temple on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his admiration for the devotional song 'Ram Aayenge' performed by Bhojpuri singer Swati Mishra.

When posting the bhajan video on his X platform, Prime Minister Modi commended the singer and said, " This devotional bhajan of Swati Mishra ji to welcome Shri Ram Lalla is mesmerising."

Swati Mishra released the devotional song 'Ram Aayenge' on her YouTube channel in October 2023, and since then, it has generated over 43 million views. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to participate in the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. At approximately 12:15 pm, he will conduct the rituals within the sanctum sanctorum during the pran-pratishtha ceremony.

“I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion,” PM Modi had written in a post on X when he got the invitation.

Worth mentioning, the idol of Ram Lalla, meticulously crafted by the renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka, has been confirmed for the upcoming consecration ceremony.

Several prominent personalities are expected to attend the inauguration of the Ram temple.
