Years first H1N1 positive case detected in SCB Hospital

Cuttack, Feb 6: Doctors of SCB Mediacl College and Hospital (SCBMCH) HERE ON Thursday confirmed a swine u case. Swab report of a person from Dhenkanal district showed presence of H1N1 virus. The patient is undergoing treatment at a special word, informed SCBMCH authority. Three persons were admitted to the hospital few days ago having flu like symptoms. Swab samples of the patients were sent to the laboratory of Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), Bhubaneswar. Reports of two patients were tested negative while one sample tested positive. One patient has been discharged following required treatment and another two are undergoing treatment at the special ward of the hospital.
