Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: The Odisha government is set to disburse financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana to a total of 4,57,681 beneficiaries today, with the event scheduled to take place at 10 am at Krushi Shiksha Sadan. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida will be present at the event.

As per the reports, a significant portion of the beneficiaries will receive their first installment today. Among them are 1,78,398 new beneficiaries who have turned 21. In addition, 24,018 beneficiaries, who were added following grievance hearings, along with 2,55,265 beneficiaries who were previously excluded due to technical errors, will also receive their payments. Those who were excluded due to errors will receive double installments, amounting to Rs 10,000.

The total financial outlay for the disbursement is Rs 250 crore. The event, originally scheduled for January 18, was postponed to January 22.
