Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: Odisha Vigilance launched simultaneous house and office searches today at four locations linked to Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar, Barang Tahasil, Cuttack, following allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond known sources of income.

The searches are being carried out under the supervision of four DSPs, seven Inspectors, one SI, eight ASIs, and other supporting staff, based on search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

The locations under scrutiny include:

A triple-storeyed building on Plot No. 3293, Sub-plot-C, Khata No. 1494/1253, Gopaluni Nagar, Badagada, Bhubaneswar-35.

Another triple-storeyed building at LB-187, Badagada Brit Colony, Bhubaneswar.

A double-storeyed building on Plot No. 326/1151/1357, Khata No. 277/444, Sanapalla, Khordha.

The office chamber of Sri Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar, at the O/O Tahasildar, Baranga, Cuttack.

The searches are currently ongoing, and further updates are awaited.
