Kanpur (UP), November 13: Dr. Shaheen Saeed, one of the suspects in the Delhi blast case, served as the Head of the Pharmacology Department at Kanpur Medical College from September 2012 to December 2013. She initially joined the college in 2012 as a lecturer and was later transferred to Kannauj Medical College in 2013.

Dr. Saeed has been arrested in connection with the alleged terror module responsible for the blast near the Red Fort, which resulted in 12 deaths and multiple injuries. The investigation revealed that arms and explosives were linked to her. The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) also detained Dr. Arif, another doctor from Kanpur, for his alleged connection to Dr. Saeed.

Authorities have identified at least four doctors involved in planning multiple attacks across the country. So far, three doctors, including Dr. Saeed, have been arrested, while a fourth, Dr. Umar Nabi, died in the car explosion that caused the blast.

The terror module, described as a "transnational" group, included doctors, clerics, and businessmen. Investigations have led to the seizure of several vehicles and explosives, with authorities uncovering significant quantities of materials for bomb-making.
