Bhubaneswar, Jan 21:The Odisha government has stepped up its preparations for the visit of Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan, scheduled for January 23, to ensure smooth execution of all official engagements.

A high-level meeting was convened at Lok Seva Bhavan, chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg, with senior officials from various departments in attendance. The meeting focused on detailed discussions regarding security arrangements, logistics, protocol, and coordination for the Vice-President's visit.

According to the official itinerary, the Vice-President is set to arrive at Bhubaneswar airport at 8:50 am on January 23. After his arrival, he will head to Cuttack, where he will participate in events marking the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, observed as Parakram Diwas across the country.

During his visit to Cuttack, the Vice-President is scheduled to visit the Netaji Museum, a prominent institution dedicated to the life and legacy of the iconic freedom fighter. He will also inaugurate the District Culture Bhavan, underscoring the state's commitment to promoting and preserving cultural heritage.

Following his engagements in Cuttack, the Vice-President will return to Bhubaneswar to attend a luncheon hosted at the Chief Secretary’s Lok Bhavan. His return journey will conclude with his departure from Bhubaneswar airport to Kolkata at 2:15 pm.

The state administration has assured that comprehensive arrangements are in place to ensure the visit is conducted without disruption, focusing on maintaining order and seamless coordination throughout the event.
