Mumbai, Feb 14: Actor Sunny Deol attended a press conference on Thursday to celebrate the success of Border 2, where he credited his late father, legendary actor Dharmendra, for his successful career in the film industry.

During the event, Deol expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their unwavering love and support, which he believes played a crucial role in the massive success of Border 2. Reflecting on the achievement of his recent back-to-back hits, he humbly attributed it to God’s blessings and the guidance of his father.

"Everything I have achieved is because of God's grace and my father's blessings," Deol said.

Border 2, which was released on January 23, is a sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border, directed by J.P. Dutta. The film, set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, has been lauded for its emotional depth, patriotism, and impactful dialogues. The stellar performances by the cast, including Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, have also earned praise from audiences and critics alike.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. In addition to the lead actors, the film also features Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana in key supporting roles.
