The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made a sudden change to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 exam schedule. The updated dates were announced via a notice issued on 8th January 2026, which also provided information about the release of the exam city intimation slip.
The new dates, according to the notice, state that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exams will now be held from 21st January to 29th January 2026, instead of the previously scheduled dates from 21st January to 30th January.

Registered and eligible candidates can now check and download their city intimation slip from the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. To access the slip, candidates need to log in with their application number and date of birth.
