Koraput, Feb 19: Koraput district authorities reported that two decomposed bodies were recovered from the Sabari River, linked to a family that went missing while fishing in the Badudi Hills of Baipariguda.

The deceased have been identified as Lalit Pujari of Dandabadi village and his four-year-old daughter, Geli Pujari. Among the family’s four members, the seven-month-pregnant mother and the elder daughter are still missing.

The ODRAF team, along with the fire brigade, police, and local villagers, are continuing their search and investigation at the site. The family had gone missing on February 1 while fishing in the Badudi Hills.

Authorities have confirmed that recovery operations are ongoing, and residents remain on alert as the search continues.
