​​​​​​​Rayagada, Jan 5: In a shocking incident, a school boy in Odisha’s Rayagada district allegedly set four classmates on fire, dousing thinner on them.

As many as four minor boys were hospitalized for sustaining critical burn injuries in their body, said sources.

The incident took place at Paika Dakulaguda High School under Muniguda block of the district on Monday.

According to report, the enraged boy allegedly attacked a group of his classmates over his previous rivalry with them. Meanwhile, he set them ablaze pouring thinner on them.

As a result, four minor boys sustained severe burn injuries and were initially rushed to the hospital for emergency care. However, they were shifted to Cuttack later for advanced treatment.

On being informed, local police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation into the case.
