Puri, Nov 22: A Rajasthan couple on Saturday left his comatose boy on bare body, on the ‘Baisi Pahacha’ of lord Jagannath Temple in Puri, hoping full recovery of their child.

The parents reappeared in Puri today as their boy who remained irresponsive for almost a year, miraculously responded and smiled after he was laid down before the Lord Jagannath, at the ‘Baisi Pahacha’.

The Parents are identified as Prakash Bhoi and his spouse, who offered obeisance to Lord Jagannath today, seeking full recovery of their ward Nikhil.

According to Prakash & Mrs. Bhoi, their lad went into the coma stage following a sudden fever. Despite, high-end cares his conditions showed no improvement, rather he remained further standstill. Losing hope, we decided to surrender him before the Lord Jagganath here in Puri, hoping developments in his health.

“On the advice of some elders, we resolved to leave the lad on the ‘Baisi Pahacha’ and roll him down across the stony steps, waiting the Lord’s grace. Finally, we followed the age-old practice and returned home remaining hopeful for Lord Jagannath’s mercy on our traumatic distress. However, to our surprise our boy began smiling of his own and moving his limbs, a few hours to our Jagannath Darshan”, the parents expressed with deep gratitude.

“This, we think a miracle, a divine grace, nothing but the blessings of Lord Jagannath”, the parents dumbed with tears of intrinsic devotion.

According to a senior servitor of the Jagannath Temple, Lord Jagganath can’t endure the sorrows & sufferings of his peer devotees. The Lord will surely address the concern of the poor parents.

“Biswase Miali Hari, that literally means- ‘A good faith on the almighty brings God closer’. The firm confidence of the parents on the Lord Jagannth would never go in vain”, the servitor added.
