Cuttack, Nov 25: The district administration has revised its earlier directive on the suspension of salaries for 91 officers. As per the updated list, the salaries of 36 officers have been suspended. Senior administrative officers have been excluded from the revised list.
According to officials, the suspension comes after these officers failed to resolve complaints submitted to the Chief Minister’s grievance cell within the stipulated timeframe.
The initial notification, issued yesterday, had included 91 government officials, among them the Cuttack Rural SP, CMS Commissioner, and the District Chief Medical Officer. Cuttack Additional District Magistrate Shiv Tappo confirmed the development.
