Mandi (HP), March 15: Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, emphasized on Sunday that judicial complexes should operate with the same dedication and spirit of service as hospitals. He pointed out that people approach courts with hope, seeking relief and justice, and it is the responsibility of the judicial system to meet these expectations.

Speaking at a legal literacy camp after laying the foundation stone for the Mandi Judicial Court Complex, the Chief Justice underscored the growing responsibility that accompanies the expansion of judicial facilities.

Justice Surya also highlighted the importance of not only focusing on fundamental rights but also on fundamental duties, which are equally significant in the Constitution. He urged for more awareness campaigns at the grassroots level to educate citizens about these duties and their role in upholding the nation's values.
