Debagarh, Aug 24: A man beat up his father to death after a fight over chicken curry. The incident occurred in Kalamati village under Debagarh police limits in the district on Friday night. The accused, identified as Amulya Munda (34), has been arrested. According to police, the deceased, Govind Munda (56), scolded his elder son Amulya complaining that he was served less quantity of chicken curry in dinner. Irate over the incident, Amulya took out a bamboo stick and started beating his father chasing in the village until he died. The deceased’s younger son filed a murder complaint at Debagarh police station on Saturday morning. Police launched a probe into the matter with help of scientific team and arrested Amulya.
