Kendrapara, Feb 19: Kendrapara police have arrested a man and three others for allegedly exploiting a young woman for monetary gain and forcing her into sexual and other immoral activities.

According to sources, the victim, a resident of Arua Kadalibana village under Pattamundai police limits in Jajpur district, was in a relationship with Rahul. Recently, Rahul brought her to Om Sai Guest House in Shyamagudia under Kendrapara police limits. There, he reportedly coerced her into sexual acts and other unlawful activities under the pretext of marriage. The victim was also subjected to physical assault on multiple occasions.

The woman later managed to escape and lodged a complaint with the police. Acting promptly, authorities arrested Rahul, his male friend, another female accomplice, the lodge owner, and one more associate involved in the crime.

Police have registered a case and are carrying out further investigations.
