Bbubaneswar, Jan 15: With technical glitches on the OSSSC portal during registration and submission of application fees, Common Graduate Level (CGL) aspirants have demanded for a deadline extension.

They have urged the CM and the Chief Secretary to announce revised schedule with extended deadline on online application for the CGL recruitment, notified recently.

Aspirants applying for Group B and Group C posts under the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission’s (OSSSC) Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE-2025) have appealed to CM Mohan Majhi and Chief Secretary Anu Garg, for more time to apply for the post as technical problems persist during application.

In a representation submitted on Tuesday, aspirants urged the government to provide more time to register online citing delays in the application portal, login failures, and errors during document uploads and interruptions while submitting completed forms.

As per the OSSSC notification, online registration for the CGL examination against 1,576 vacancies began on December 19, 2025, and is scheduled to close on January 18, 2026. The last date for submission of completed application forms is January 21, while editing of online applications will remain open until January 24.
