The Police Commissionerate in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack has also increased surveillance in critical areas. On Tuesday night, police in both cities were seen patrolling various streets, maintaining peace and order.

During the Holi briefing on Tuesday, the police urged everyone to celebrate the festival with joy and peace. They reminded people that if any unfortunate incidents occur during the festivities, the responsible parties will face strict legal action and be taken to jail. The police emphasized the importance of safety, asking everyone to play Holi responsibly, keeping in mind the well-being of themselves and others.
