Anandapur, Mar 18: Traffic disruption has become a growing concern in Anandapur subdivision as shopkeepers in various markets block roads by displaying their goods on the streets. Customers often park their vehicles directly on the road while shopping, leading to severe congestion and delays.

The problem is not limited to shopkeepers alone. With no designated parking spaces, vehicles from multiple banks and other government and private institutions along the roads add to the gridlock, making the situation increasingly unmanageable. Motorbikes and cars parked haphazardly along the roadside often cause accidents, further aggravating public frustration.

Observing the severity of the situation, the Anandapur Police have moved into action. Under the leadership of SDPO Anandapur, police teams are actively sensitising the public to avoid illegal parking. Shopkeepers and institutions responsible for blocking roads have also been warned to remain vigilant and ensure free passage for vehicles.

Authorities have cautioned that failure to comply with the guidelines may result in strict action in the coming days, as the police aim to restore smooth traffic flow and prevent accidents in the subdivision.
