Nuapada, Nov 14: Counting of votes for the 71 Nuapada Assembly Constituency in Odisha is underway at the district headquarters.
As many as 14 rounds of the scheduled 26 Conting-sets, have been successfully concluded so far.
According to the recent bulletin, potential pick of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jay Dholakia leaps forward to conquer the coveted Nuapada dominion.
He is almost pacing ahead towards victory, as he is leading the electoral race bagging 63,522 votes in favor of him, so far i.e by the end of 13th round counting.
On the other hand, oppositions BJD and Congress are left behind, far away from his accomplishment. BJD candidate Snehangini Chhuria has reportedly bagged 20,288 votes. Similarly, Congress face Ghasiram Majhi remained in the 3rd position at 20,103, thus with a meager difference from the BJD.
With the remaining 13 rounds, Dholakia has so far secured almost 43,234 surplus votes from his immediate contestant BJD and 43,319 votes more than that of the Congress.
If this trail goes on in the next 13 rounds ahead, Dholakia might secure the Nuapada seat which will add pride and dignity to the ruling BJP in Odisha.
Based on the trend, BJP leaders in Nuapada and State headquarters at Bhubaneswar as well, are set to celebrate Dholkia’s stupendous achievement.
According to sources, the state leaderships along with the Cabinet of Ministers, have been asked to leave for Nuapada, ahead of the celebration.
