The IMD's Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar reported dry weather prevailing across the state, with no major weather systems currently affecting Odisha.

Reports indicated that isolated areas in Sundargarh and Koraput are seeing dense fog, while parts of Kalahandi are experiencing moderate fog. Early morning visibility was low in several regions, gradually improving as the day progressed.

The IMD noted a significant drop in night temperatures across various districts. North Interior Odisha and South Coastal Odisha saw temperature declines of around three degrees Celsius in some areas. Minimum temperatures were recorded six to seven degrees below normal in parts of North Interior Odisha, while many interior and coastal districts experienced temperatures three to five degrees below normal.

Phulbani recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state, with a chilly 9.5°C. A yellow warning has been issued for cold wave conditions in Jharsuguda, Kandhamal, and Sundargarh, which remains in effect for the next two days.

In addition to the cold wave warning, the IMD has predicted dry weather across all districts for the next week. The weather forecast for November 22 to 25 shows no significant changes in conditions.
