Cuttack, Nov 6:The Cuttack City-Street before the Ravenshaw University on Thursday caught sight of the commuters and denizens for an on-road physical class, that’s going on during the college hour.

The strange scene was nothing but a live-class session of some Ravenshaw University students, who took to the street over utter negligence of the authority in fulfilling the basic needs and maintaining essential safety standard of the classrooms.

The demonstration was a part of symbolic protest, after the repeated deterrence of the varsity authorities to take up essential repair works of the age-old classrooms.

According to the reports, the Plus III second-year Arts students came on the the roadside in the noon and sat there with books & copies, as they do in the classrooms. They  set up the makeshift classroom and continued their lessons there. Meanwhile, a faculty reportedly joined the scene and taugh the learners on the street in the mock classs.

With the innovative protest, the protestors urged the university administration to take immediate action to repair the dilapidated classrooms and ensure a safe learning environment in the premier varsity.

Comments of the Ravenshaw authorities regarding the complaints and, over the mock class on road, are yet awaited.
