Jajpur, Mar 14: The National Lok Adalat 2026, organised under the guidelines of the National Legal Services Authority, has commenced in Jajpur district and Daurajarj.

Under this initiative, numerous pending traffic challan and e-challan cases issued by the Transport Department can now be settled online, allowing violators to pay fines digitally and resolve matters quickly.

However, the scope of the Lok Adalat is not limited to traffic cases alone. Cases related to criminal matters, motor accident compensation, bank loans, electricity and water supply disputes, labour conflicts, and cheque bounce issues are also being addressed.

The court premises have witnessed a huge turnout, with people queuing up at all help desks for assistance and guidance in resolving their pending cases efficiently.
