Bubaneswar: The Odisha senior men’s football team will be travelling Saturday to Narainpur, Chhattisgarh, to participate in the Qualifying Round of the 79th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2025-26, scheduled to be held at Narainpur, Chhattisgarh.
Odisha has been placed in Group F alongside Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana. A 20-member squad of players along with four team officials will represent the State in this prestigious championship. The team list and match schedule are attached herewith for
reference. Ashok Kumar Panda, Additional Secretary, DSYS, Soumya Sarthak Mishra, Deputy Secretary, DSYS and Asish Kumar Rout, ORS, Officer on Special Duty, DSYS and Biswa Ranjan Gharai, Jt. Secretary – FAO wished the players at Kalinga Stadium.
On this occasion, Tankadhar Tripathy (MLA-Jharsuguda & President, FAO), Dr. Asirbad Behera (Secretary, FAO), along with other office bearers and members of the Football Association of Odisha, have extended their best wishes to the team for the championship.
Odisha, placed in the Group-F will face Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh on 22nd, 24th and 26th December respectively at RKM Ashrama Ground.
