Patna, Oct 31: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Friday unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, outlining an ambitious development roadmap for the state.

Key promises include creating employment opportunities for one crore youth, empowering one crore women as “Lakhpati Didis,” expanding metro services to four more cities, and establishing seven international airports across Bihar.

The 69-page manifesto also highlights plans to construct seven new expressways, develop ten industrial parks, provide free quality education from kindergarten to post-graduation, and offer monthly financial aid of ₹2,000 to Scheduled Caste students pursuing higher education.

If re-elected, the NDA has pledged to build a world-class medicity, ensure a medical college in every district, continue the free ration scheme, provide free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh, and construct 50 lakh additional pucca houses.

The manifesto was released in the presence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Chirag Paswan, and BJP national president J.P. Nadda, among other leaders. It also promises a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for every crop, reinforcing the alliance’s commitment to farmers’ welfare.

“Over one crore government jobs and employment opportunities will be created. A Skill Census will be conducted to promote skill-based employment, and Mega Skill Centers will be established in every district to make Bihar a global skill hub,” the document states.

In an effort to empower women, the NDA has committed to providing up to ₹2 lakh in financial assistance through the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana. The alliance aims to help one crore women become “Lakhpati Didis” and launch Mission Crorepati to turn women entrepreneurs into millionaires.

The manifesto lists 25 key promises, including the Karpuri Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi, which will offer farmers ₹3,000 annually (₹9,000 over three years) under the MSP Guarantee initiative to uphold farmers’ dignity and income security.
