Bhubaneswar, Jan 8: The Odisha State Transport Corporation (OSTC) has ordered the suspension of salaries for three officials from the Jajpur Transport Department due to alleged negligence in their duties.

The decision was made by the Managing Director of the Corporation, who stated that the officials will not receive their salaries until they return to duty after their suspension. This action follows the initiation of departmental proceedings against the individuals involved.

The suspended officials include District Manager Ishwar Mahapatra, Additional Manager Jyoti Prakash Behera, and Officer Pritish Kumar Nayak. A departmental inquiry revealed significant lapses in their performance, prompting the Corporation to take strict disciplinary action.
