Mumbai, Jan 19: Bollywood couple RajKummar Rao and Patralekhaa, who recently embraced parenthood after welcoming their first child, have shared the name of their baby girl with their fans.
On Sunday, January 18, the couple took to Instagram to announce the name of their daughter, posting a heartwarming picture of her tiny fingers wrapped around their hands. The touching image quickly won hearts online.
Alongside the photo, RajKummar and Patralekhaa shared a heartfelt message that read, “With folded hands and full hearts, we introduce our greatest blessing.” They also revealed that their little one’s name is Parvati Paul Rao (pronounced "Paarvtii PoNl Raav").
Parvati was born in November last year, and the couple had announced the joyful news on their fourth wedding anniversary, November 15. In their earlier post, they had written, “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl. Blessed parents – Patralekhaa and Rajkummar.” They had referred to their daughter as God’s “greatest blessing” in the caption.
RajKummar and Patralekhaa tied the knot on November 15, 2021, in a private ceremony in Chandigarh. The two first collaborated in the 2014 film Citylights, which was Patralekhaa’s Bollywood debut.
On the professional front, RajKummar is set to star in Nikam, a film based on the life of prominent public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam. He recently completed shooting for the project in November 2022. Additionally, RajKummar is making waves in the production space with his wife Patralekhaa. The couple launched their own production house, KAMPA Film, a name that holds personal significance, as it combines the initials of their mothers’ names. In a statement, Patralekhaa expressed, “We’ve always believed in the power of storytelling. With KAMPA, we’re looking forward to sharing these stories with the world.”
