New Delhi, January 27: A recent report has unveiled that over 650 alumni of IIT Delhi are currently serving in various public institutions, with a significant representation in India's civil services. The inaugural 'Alumni Impact Report,' which was unveiled by the institute on Tuesday, sheds light on the substantial contributions of its 65,000+ alumni since the institution's founding.

Released to coincide with IIT Delhi's 68th foundation day celebrations, the report offers a detailed account of the remarkable journeys of its graduates. It reveals the institution’s profound influence on both Indian governance and international scholarship, with more than 270 alumni in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and around 100 in the Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
