Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: The state capital was rocked by another incident of crime against women after a young woman was allegedly assaulted by a miscreant for refusing to share her mobile number. The incident took place near Ravi Talkies Square under Lingaraj police limits.

According to reports, the woman, who works at a showroom in Bhubaneswar, was returning home after work when an unidentified youth stopped her and demanded her mobile number. When she refused, the accused allegedly began following her and misbehaved with her. As the woman protested, the youth reportedly assaulted her with his mobile phone, causing injuries to her nose and eye, and then fled the scene.
