​​​​​​​Sambalpur, Oct 13: In a tragic incident, a man died of heart stroke while he was driving a car with two passengers onboard.

The incident took place at Kuchinda in Odisha's Sambalpur district on Monday, while a woman was returning home from a school hostel with her ailing daughter.

The deceased has been identified as Srikant Nag, a domestic driver of the same village.

According to reports, a woman from Katarbaga village after receiving her unwell daughter from school hostel in her car, was coming back home. Meanwhile, near the Kuchinda daily market car driver Srikant Nag collapsed all of a sudden on his seat, griping the steering wheel.

As the car stalled at once with a violent jerk, the woman took notice of the incident and cried for help.Responding to her alarm, locals and unlookers stopped the vehicle engine, recovered Nag and rushed to the Kuchinda Hospital for resuscitation. However, he was declared dead by the attending docor, reporting it a case of heart stroke.

On being informed, police seized the body from the hospital and refered it for post-mortem examinations.
