Mumbai, March 7: Popular Bollywood singer and rapper Badshah has once again landed in controversy, this time over his newly released Haryanvi track Tatihari. The Haryana State Commission for Women has taken strong objection to the song and issued a notice to the artist.

According to the commission, certain lyrics in the song as well as some scenes in its music video are objectionable. The panel has alleged that the content of the song undermines the dignity and respect of women.

Taking note of the issue, the commission has summoned Badshah and asked him to appear before it to present his explanation. The notice directs the singer to clarify his position regarding the lyrics and visuals that have drawn criticism.

Badshah has previously faced controversies over some of his songs and statements, and the latest development has once again brought the rapper into the spotlight.
