Nuapada, Dec 10: In a tragic incident, a Class X student of Jawahar Navoday Vidyalay (JNV) Nuapada collapsed while playing football.

The mishap took place in the afternoon at the school ground at Tarabod in the Nuapada district.

The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Sabar, a national level handball player.

According to report, Dinesh was playing football in the school ground. Meanwhile, he fell unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital for resuscitation. However, he was declared dead by the attending doctor.

A pall of gloom descended in the vicinity with the sudden demise of the healthy and energetic lad.
