Youth succumbs to hunger at Bhubaneswar Railway Station

Bhubaneswar, May 7: In a tragic incident, a youth allegedly succumbed to hunger at Bhubaneswar railway station today. The identity of the deceased is yet to be established. Sources said that, the deceased used to earn his livelihood by sweeping the floors of the train cabins and from few days he was staying at the platform. Today, some people saw him lying and thought he was sleeping following which they tried to wake him up. After trying repeated times when he did not wake up, they informed the Government Railway police (GRP) personnel. The police reached the spot and found out that the youth had died already and sent the body for post-mortem. The people who stay nearby claimed that the youth was hungry from last few days following which he died. However, the actual reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained..
